A massive wooden fishing boat sat upon the Caribbean sea. The ocean was a pretty teal colour and it was as clear a glass, seaweed and kelp flowed in sync to the waves, schools of fish swam quickly, the sky was so blue and not a single cloud in sight.
The weather forecast said it would be sunny all throughout the day so now was a good time to be out on the water. The only people on this boat we're siblings. A 15 year old called Jackson and his older sister Alana. Their mother was struck with a sickness and this was the only job that could pay enough. They had to work through storms and scorching heat. Everything was fine, the sky was still blue and still cloudless. The ocean danced delicately until it was swept into the boat. Everything was fine until a couple minutes later.
Clouds began to surround the sky. The sky turned from bright blue to a pale grey. The ocean turned murky and gross looking. And then it started to spit. It went from spitting to raining to downright pouring. Thunder boomed, “Argh!” The siblings both jumped at the sound. They started to rise and shake and the wind howled violently. “What the hell is going on!?” Jackson screamed trying to fight over the wind. Alana grabbed onto the side of the boat, hugging it tightly. While her brother did the same. She squinted her eyes hoping this would end as the storm raged on.
How will we ever get out of this?
