The Storm
A massive wooden fishing boat sat upon the Caribbean sea. The ocean was a pretty teal colour and it was as clear a glass, seaweed and kelp flowed in sync to the waves, schools of fish swam quickly, the sky was so blue and not a single cloud in sight.
The weather forecast said it would be sunny all throughout the day so now was a good time to be out on the water. The only people on this boat we're siblings. A 15 year old called Jackson and his older sister Alana. Their mother was struck with a sickness and this was the only job that could pay enough. They had to work through storms and scorching heat. Everything was fine, the sky was still blue and still cloudless. The ocean danced delicately until it was swept into the boat. Everything was fine until a couple minutes later.
Clouds began to surround the sky. The sky turned from bright blue to a pale grey. The ocean turned murky and gross looking. And then it started to spit. It went from spitting to raining to downright pouring. Thunder boomed, “Argh!” The siblings both jumped at the sound. They started to rise and shake and the wind howled violently. “What the hell is going on!?” Jackson screamed trying to fight over the wind. Alana grabbed onto the side of the boat, hugging it tightly. While her brother did the same. She squinted her eyes hoping this would end as the storm raged on.
How will we ever get out of this?

My Possible Actions
We have been learning about climate change and the effects it has in our oceans and forests. We had also learnt how to reduce power and water to help slow down the impact. We also had to think about ways to conserve power and water.
-Turn off the lights when your not in the room, and teach your family members to do the same.
-Lower the amount of time and water you use to have a shower. And don't leave the tap on so it doesn't waste water and flood your house.
-Reduce your catch and only take what you need so they can repopulate.
-Don't take the smaller fish, so they can grow bigger.
-We can use public transport or if you don't have that in your area use bikes if the place is nearby.
-You can also recycle so it doesn't go into landfills.
-When your buying furniture think wisely just buy things that can be easily grown back and what they're made of isn't going near extinction.

Disapear
The world was going crazy. It was chaos. People we're trying to find out what was happening. Prized Possessions, Kids, Parents, that weirdo on your street, went missing. People we're crying, screaming as if that was going to bring them back. And then there were people that we're fine with this, they 're a bit crazy though. And then there we're the crackheads that thought this the work of a purple fictional villain with a magical gauntlet with rocks in it.
It had been weeks since the first disappearance. Scientists and Paranormal Experts had no idea what was going on. Was it just going to go on till there was no one left on Earth? What happened to the people that disappeared? We're they OK? I don’t know… In my household there was no one but me (Age: 14) and my dog, a golden retriever called Socks. He was usually an ecstatic dog but he wasn’t himself. It was depressing to see him sit by a massive window and stare at the city during this chaos. “Knock! Knock!” Someone was at the door. She walked over to the brown door and tugged at the doorknob. There stood a person that was at least 12 feet high. There were a couple people behind him not as tall but still an astonishing 9 feet high. There we're all different colours. Some were as blue as the sky. While others we're purple, green, and yellow. They all had patterns on their faces; the tallest one had an emblem imprinted onto his forehead while the others just had a line smudged on their foreheads. They were wearing a sort of ragged uniform with a weird logo on it, most of them had pouches hanging from their waists. They looked like something out of comic books.
“We're looking for subject 079-7300. Have you seen him? He’s at least 7 and a half feet high. Black scrawny hair, and scars on his hands.”
“Huh that’s funny he sounds a lot like my dad…”
The End
For this weeks writing task we had to write a story about a place where things started to mysteriously disappear.

Multiples and Factors
WALT: Understand factors and multiples of numbers.
Multiples and Factors
Multiples are numbers that can be divided by another number a certain amount of times without a remainder. While on the other hand a factor is a number divided with another or multiple numbers that divides a number without remainders.
Today for Maths we were given a few questions. The questions were one of those guess the numbers and they gave you a few hints. I struggled with the last 2. There were 5 overall.
These were the questions.
